Hi, I’m Vanessa! 🌿📚
I’m the educator behind Growing Minds Studio, and I’m so excited to introduce myself!
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and 12 years of experience in education. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach children from Pre-K through 3rd grade, giving me a deep understanding of how foundational skills develop during those important early years.
My passion for literacy also led me beyond the classroom. I’ve served as a Staff Developer for the Reading Department and as a Professional Learning Facilitator, supporting educators as they strengthen their instructional practices.
One thing has remained at the heart of everything I do: children grow when learning is intentional, engaging, and responsive to who they are as learners. 🌱
That belief is a big part of why I created Growing Minds Studio: a space where I can use my experience to support children and families through personalized learning, with a special focus on reading and literacy.
